We've talked about Thomas in several topics on this board.
I really recommend his DVD, if you are into learning new techniques in playing odd times, and especially working to better your feet on double pedals.

Of course Thomas, in the last four years, has been showing what can be done in different music settings, how to incorporate double pedal using the Sonor Giant Step pedal series. It took Thomas a year to master these pedals before going out to do clinics.

This is also a good DVD to keep and every once and a while, use it to take whatever you want to better your playing.

All in all, the whole production is done well.

Thomas IS a very musical drummer. But, his clinics, sponsored by Sonor, are really to show the Giant Step pedals and he is the right person to do this.

But, when you get the DVD, you have to buy it to learn all of the technical stuff. Just take what you want out of his playing, and you will be a winner ! I am sure that we will see him in a more musical setting in the next years. I'll look for the topic on him, and bring it up front so you can see all the comments.

I was very surprised when I listenned to Thomas' Mediator cd....I was expecting a crazy chops fest, but it was the complete opposite...he was just sitting back in the pocket grooving, and sounding very good...he must be able to groove and play musically if he is a first call drummer on the european music scene.
